On March 11^th, 2020 the NBA announced that the NBA season would be suspended. During this announcement the Miami Heat were playing a game against the Charlotte Hornets. The Heat lost the game sadly of a score 109-98. This left the Heat with a 41-24 record and placed 4^th in the Eastern Conference. There are a lot of questions about this season and what is going to happen. The NBA announced that the suspension would last at least a month. Since this virus is so contagious and unpredictable the NBA cannot give a specific date on when they would come back. If the. Season were to come back and go straight to the playoffs the Heat would face off against the Indiana Pacers in the first round. It is sad to think that this could have been the last Miami Heat basketball game of the season but the NBA made the correct decision to suspend the league

Baseball Season is upon us and Spring training and already gotten going. The Miami Marlins have been awful over the past few years to say the least but during spring training that have done amazing. They have the second best record in Spring training at 7-3 scoring 53 runs in those ten games and only allowing 42 runs scored. This Spring training the Miami Marlins are looking good and they are hoping that it can carry into the season and the young group can put something special together. There is only a month left of Spring training and the Marlins look to be keeping their momentum and finishing off strong. It is great to have baseball back and even though the hometown Miami Marlins have not done something in years prior they look to be turning it around. These are the best NFL combine moments

The NFL combine is upon us this weekend and it is where all the best collegiate prospects will be showing off their skills in hopes to be drafted early in the this years NFL draft. These players perform at multiple different events such as the 40 yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 3 cone drill. The Miami Dolphins will be there all weekend looking talent that could improve their team. The main player that Miami wanted to take a look at was Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback from The Alabama Crimson tide. The NFL combine is a fun time of year because these athletes can make a name for themselves. Not everyone that gets invited to the combine is a first round pick, many people who get invited will go undrafted but that is what makes the combine great. If someone has a good combine then they could boost their draft stock.

The NBA trade deadline has just passed, and the Miami Heat has made a big move that can hopefully push them to the top of the Eastern conference. They have traded for 36 years old Andre Iguodala of the Memphis Grizzlies. Miami gave up Justice Winslow, Dion Waiters and James Johnson for the center piece Andre Iguodala, Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill. The addition of these players could help Miami throughout the second half of the season. These three players are defensive minded and are joining an already defensive minded team. The old saying is “defense wins championships” and the Miami Heat are trying to prove that with this last-minute trade. This trade made a big splash in the NBA community and came as a surprise to the rest of the NBA. Also, Miami has planned their salary cap perfectly to free up enough money to sign a player to a max contract in the 2021 off-season.

On the Hundredth-year anniversary of the NFL the Super Bowl will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. This past week we found out the two teams that will be meeting each other in Miami on February 2nd will be the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Both of the teams won their respective conference championships in blow out fasion. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were able to stop the NFLs leading rusher Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans. The amazing 49ers defense was able to hold Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense to only 20 points during the game. This will be first Super Bowl win for both of these teams since 1995. The Super will be in two weeks and these two teams will go at it for sixty to see who becomes the champions of Super Bowl LIV.

The Miami Heat have officially hit the halfway way point of their NBA season and have a record of 29-12. The last time they had a record of 29-12 the Miami Heat made it to at least the Eastern Conference Finals. In the 2012-13 NBA season the Heat had a 28-13 record and that team won the NBA championship. There are high hopes for this Miami Heat team as they start the second half of this season soon. If the Heat do the same the same amount of games in second half of the season they will end with the fifth best record in franchise history primed for a deep playoff run. This team has turned some heads this season and they hope that even though they have a relatively young team with veterans such as Jimmy Butler and Myers Leonard they can win a lot more games this season.
